Leo Fortu is the youngest and most idealistic of the Fortu children — a force for sustainable change within the family's vast economic ecosystem. Passionate about the environment from a young age, Leo elected to study Environmental Engineering at UC Berkeley rather than a traditional business or law path. Upon graduating, he launched Fortu Green Initiatives, convincing his father to redirect a portion of the family's infrastructure capital toward renewable energy. In just four years, Leo has grown the entity to manage 4.2 gigawatts of clean energy capacity spanning Southeast Asia, the Middle East, and Latin America. He is widely regarded in green-energy circles as one of the most disruptive young executives in the space.
